WARRINGTON Wolves have announced their squad numbers for 2016, with Aussie signing Kurt Gidley being handed the Number 1 shirt, with last season’s full-back Matty Russell being handed the number 5.
Whether it means Gidley, will be playing in his prime position at full-back remains to be seen, with players covering a number of positions in the modern game.
The versatile former Aussie star has also played at half back and hooker.
