SIX new benches have been installed at Frodsham’s Castle Park to encourage more people to visit the park and stay a little longer to enjoy its ambiance.
Frodsham councillors Lynn Riley and Andrew Dawson were among the first to try them out.
Cllr Riley said: “The partnership that comprises Castle Park Trust, Frodsham Town Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council has worked together to install the benches and six new bins, which we hope will improve the visitor experience.”
Cllr Dawson, chairman of Castle Park Trust Executive, added: “I am delighted that these new benches have been installed at Castle Park and welcome the continued investment in the park by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
“The park is such a fantastic place to visit and I hope that people from Frodsham and the surrounding area continue to explore it.”
The partnership will continue to work together to bring improvements to the park.
