Horse trapped after vehicle overturns

FIRE crews were called to Frodsham after a horse became trapped when a horse box toppled over.
The incident was in Manley Road, yesterday (Wednesday) shortly before 2pm.
One fire engine from Frodsham and the specialist animal rescue unit from Bollington attended the incident.
A vet sedated the horse and firefighters then removed the roof from the horse box and then removed the animal using special straps.
The horse was then placed in another horse box while it recovered from sedation.
