A 12-HOUR non-stop community event to celebrate the joys of singing and music is planned for Frodsham next year.
The “Singathon” is being organised by Frodsham Community Centretainments Group to be held on Saturday, February 27 at Frodsham Community Centre in Fluin Lane.
All age groups are being invited to take part, from school groups to senior choirs. All types of music will be included, from pop to jazz, classic to folk.
Organisers are already recruiting choirs, bands, groups and individuals who would like to entertain the people of Frodsham for an allocated time during the day.
In addition to singing, the group need skills in marketing and IT, experience in staging events and help with running a café during the day. There will be lots of opportunities for volunteering.
