The carnival takes place on Saturday July 5, starting with a parade of floats from The Plough at Kenyon Lane at 12 noon, the walking parade joining in at the Memorial Hall 25 minutes later and the official opening being at the playing field at 1.15pm.
A fun packed afternoon is planned with be a variety of stalls and fairground rides.
There will be entertainment from Galloping Acrobatics, Wild Birds of Prey display, Punch and Judy and Professor Pumpernickel – The Mad Scientist is back by popular demand.
