IT’S official – Radio Warrington is now the coolest radio station in town – thanks to a new air conditioned studio in their new base at Warrington Disability Partnership’s Independent Centre for Living on Beafort Street.
Volunteers from the radio station have teamed up with WDP to provide a truly independent community radio station, broadcasting from Warrington, for Warrington 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Working round the clock in a busy studio was proving hot work for the dedicated team of presenters – but now local air conditioning company 4Seasons have come to the rescue, with a bespoke air conditioning system.
They have joined a list of local companies who are supporting the community initiative, including J&K Ross Safety Wear based on Kerfoot Street and the Crazy Hog Catering Company.
Station Director Steve Lewis, who has been a DJ in the town for nearly 10 years, said: “We are extremely grateful
to 4Seasons air conditioning who have provided us with a top quality system which is ensuring we are the coolest
radio station around!”
Being internet based the website also attracts listeners from all over the world covering local topics, sports and events, featuring local people, supporting ALL local charities, providing full match commentary on all Warrington Wolves Home Games – not forgetting a massive selection of music.
Radio Warrington plays all kinds of different music with something to suit everyone.
warrington-worldwide Editor Gary Skentelbery presents two classic rock shows on Friday and Saturday evenings from 10pm to midnight.
