A WARRINGTON student has won a prestigious award in his final year at Liverpool John Moores University.
Edward Cottrill, of Stockton Heath, won the Best HND Final Year Student in Construction Management Award, sponsored by specialist recruitment company, Hays Construction.
He received a cheque and framed certificate at the university’s prize giving ceremony.
Company director Pam Lindsay-Dunn said: “This prize is a small step to reward the next generation for their hard work.
“Not only is it great to support students to pursue a career in construction management but we would also encourage students to explore the many employment opportunities that exist locally.”
