FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a fire in a wooded area at Great Sankey, Warrington, earlier this evening.
The fire, which started at around 18.00pm was by a pond at the rear of Jamestown Avenue, in Great Sankey, Warrington.
One fire engine attended from Penketh and firefighters used handheld fire extinguishers to deal with a fire in the wooded area.
