Travellers arrive at Morrisons Supermarket

TRAVELLERS have been reported setting up an encampment on Morrisons’ supermarket car park near Stockton Heath, Warrington.

Half a dozen vehicles and associated caravans were seen on the car park at around 6.30pm this evening (Thursday).

Being on private land Morrisons will have to start proceedings to have them moved on – should they remain any length of time.

Traveller problems have been an ongoing problem at various locations across Warrington with encampments setting up at various locations.

I wonder if they have any connection with the two males with strong Irish accents who were approaching people in the Riverside Retail car park this afternoon asking if they wanted to buy televisions. They were in a small white combo size van and there’s one in the photo. Maybe just a coincidence though…..
