WARRINGTON was well represented in the Manchester to Blackpool charity Bike Ride at the weekend, helping raise thousands of pounds for good causes.
A team of 12 from the “Cherry Wheelers” made up of regulars at the Cherry Tree Pub, Culcheth and sponsored by
J&K Ross, raised in excess of £6,000 for Christies Hospital.
The team completed their ride in just over five hours, suffering nothing worse than a little sun burn!
Special thanks to support drivers Mark Sinclair and Gary Holcroft.

Meanwhile five people completed the ride on behalf of the Warrington Disability Partnership.

To date the team have raised over £1,700 towards this and it is still not too late to sponsor them by calling 01925 240064 or visiting www.disabilitypartnership.org.uk
Warrington Disability Partnership will also be holding a tombola (10-4) this Saturday at the Disability Information
Point in Warrington Retail Market. This will include the draw of the WDP Summer Raffle- first prize is a Flat Screen TV.
