WARRINGTON notched up a two-wicket victory after a hard-fought game with Mobberley at Walton Lea.
Winning the toss they decided to bowl first only to see the visitors hit a challenging 252-8.
Warrington used six bowlers, the most successful of which was Umer Zeb, with 3-51.
After the break, Warrington made a confident start but at 86-3 the game could have gone either way. It was only when skipper Liam Jenkins came to the wicket that victory began to look likely.
He hit a fine, unbeaten 69 to spur the side on to 253-8 and victory.
Warrington 2nd , 183-4, won by six wickets at Haslington with Swarn Sandhu taking 7-47 and Hassan Bukhari, 80 not out and Aahil Syed, 58, starring with the bat.

Grappenhall won by eight wickets hosting Ashley who were all out for 172. Skipper William fell hit 77 and James Knowles 45 as Grappenhall coasted to 173-2 in the 24th over.
The 2nd XI game at Ashley was won by Grappenhall, who hit 159-6 after dismissing the home side for 156. Travis Scholes top scored for Grappers with 45.
Lymm Oughtrington Park won by four runs after a tense finish at Stockport Trinity.
Batting first Lymm hit 184-9 and then bowled well to dismiss the home side for 180 in the 41st over.
