Warrington Youth Zone has announced the continuation of support from its Founder Patron, the New Balance Foundation, with a donation that will strengthen the charity’s sports provision.
The continued support will help ensure even more young people have access to high-quality sporting activities, coaching and opportunities to lead active, healthy lives.
The funding marks another significant milestone in a growing partnership between Warrington Youth Zone and New Balance Foundation, whose commitment extends far beyond financial support. Together, the New Balance Foundation and associates from New Balance have demonstrated a shared passion for investing in young people and creating positive change across the Warrington community.
The latest donation will enable Warrington Youth Zone to continue delivering an exciting and inclusive sports programme, giving members the chance to develop new skills, build confidence, improve their wellbeing and form lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment.
The support follows New Balance’s role as headline sponsor of Warrington Youth Zone’s annual Football Tournament earlier this year. The event brought together teams from across the local business community in a fantastic celebration of sport, teamwork and fundraising, with New Balance associates also taking to the pitch to compete and help make the day a great success.
Beyond sponsorship and fundraising, New Balance associates have also generously volunteered their time to improve the Youth Zone’s facilities. Volunteers recently transformed the music room by creating a dedicated stage area, giving young people an inspiring space to perform, rehearse and build confidence through music. They also carried out a thorough clean of the room, creating a welcoming environment for members to enjoy.
Elsewhere across the Youth Zone, volunteer teams rolled up their sleeves to weed and tidy the outdoor spaces, helping ensure the external areas remain safe, attractive and welcoming for the thousands of young people who visit each year.
Together, these contributions demonstrate the many ways the Foundation and Company are supporting Warrington Youth Zone’s mission—through funding, volunteering and active participation in community events.

Warrington Youth Zone provides thousands of affordable opportunities each year for local young people aged 7–19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, offering over 20 activities every session in a safe, fun and inspiring environment. Partnerships with organisations such as the New Balance Foundation enable the charity to continue delivering life-changing experiences and opportunities that help young people discover their passion, realise their potential and build brighter futures.
