A fire crew was alerted following reports of a car well alight in Great Sankey during the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters were called to Waterways, Great Sankey, Warrington, shortly after 12.50am today (Thursday, October 8) following reports of a vehicle fire.
One fire engine from Warrington attended the incident and crews used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has not provided any further details about the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured.
The incident was dealt with by firefighters from Warrington Fire Station.
