WARRINGTON darts sensation Luke Littler remains a huge distance clear at the top of the PDC rankings despite a difficult few weeks on the oche.
The latest PDC Werner Rankings Ladder, issued following the 2026 BoyleSports World Grand Prix, shows the 19-year-old Warrington star still sitting proudly at world number one.
Littler has a massive £3,124,000 in ranking prize money – more than £2 million clear of nearest rival Luke Humphries, who remains second on £1,081,000.
Still number one
Despite his early exit from the World Grand Prix, Littler’s position at the summit has not changed.
He was surprisingly beaten in the opening round in Leicester by Luke Woodhouse, ending his bid to defend the title he won in spectacular fashion last year.
Humphries went on to win the 2026 World Grand Prix, beating Gerwyn Price 6-4 in the final, but the victory was not enough to close the enormous gap to Littler.
Gian van Veen remains third on £1,029,750, with Price fourth on £793,000.
James Wade is one of the major movers in the top 10, climbing from sixth to fifth, while Jonny Clayton drops one place to sixth.
Nathan Aspinall is another big climber, moving from 16th to 11th, while Wessel Nijman remains 12th.
Littler’s recent run
The latest rankings come at the end of an unusually challenging spell for the Warrington teenager.
After losing at the World Series of Darts Finals, Littler suffered his World Grand Prix exit and then experienced another shock defeat in the semi-finals of the World Youth Championship, where he was beaten 6-5 by Cam Crabtree.
But despite those results, the rankings underline just how dominant Littler has been over the longer term.He remains world number one by a considerable margin and has already built a prize-money total which dwarfs that of his nearest challengers.
With the biggest events of the darts calendar still to come, all eyes will now be on whether The Nuke can rediscover his best form in time for another assault on the biggest prizes in the sport.
