Runners in Warrington are invited to try out the latest Asics trainers and join a social 5km run at a free community event next month, in support of Warrington Youth Zone.
The event, hosted by North West running shop Running Bear in partnership with Asics and Warrington Youth Zone, takes place at Victoria Park, Warrington (WA4 1HN) on Tuesday 14th July. Runners are asked to arrive from 5:30pm, meeting at the car park, with the session starting at 6:15pm.
Attendees will have the chance to test the newest Asics running shoes before taking part in a social 5km run together. The event is being held in support of Warrington Youth Zone’s charity ultra marathon, One More Lap for Warrington Youth Zone, and aims to raise awareness of the youth charity’s work supporting children and young people across the town.
Sarah Brennan, the Community & Events Fundraiser at Warrington Youth Zone, said: “We’re really looking forward to teaming up with Running Bear and Asics for this event. It’s a brilliant, friendly way for people in Warrington to get moving, try out some new kit, and find out how they can support young people in the town at the same time.”
The event is free to attend, but places are limited and must be booked in advance via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/running-bear-x-asics-x-warrington-youth-zone-tickets-1992770188277
