DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a burglary at a bank in Warrington during the early hours of Monday morning.
At 3.25am on Monday 6 July, police were called to reports of an alarm activation at Lloyds bank on Horsemarket Street, Warrington.
Officers attended and on arrival they found two unknown men had forced entry into the premises and stole an estimated £500 worth of cash.
The men, who were both wearing balaclavas, are reported to have fled the scene on a red motorbike, travelling towards Winwick Street, travelling towards the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid the investigation.
Detective Constable Vicky Hancox, of Warrington Proactive CID, said: “Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and we’re committed to doing all we can to trace the people responsible.
“As part of our investigation, we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and believes they may have witnessed the incident.
“The same goes for anyone with any video footage of suspects arriving at or fleeing the scene on the red motorcycle.”
