PROPOSALS for the installation of electrical infrastructure to support an Electric Vehicle charging hub on a car park on the Apollo Retail Park at Westbrook, Warrington are being studied by borough planners.
The scheme submitted by Gridserve Sustainable Energy Ltd is one of a network of high power charging stations being installed across the UK – some of which are already operating – to provide fast, easy and low carbon charging solutions for motorists.
It will provide 18 charging bays and will be located south of Travelodge Warrington Gemini and north west of Harvester Apollo.
The proposals are currently being assessed by planning chiefs.
