POLICE helped bring a woman to safety following a concern for welfare incident near Bridgefoot, Warrington, earlier today, Monday.
The incident resulted in road closures near Wilderspool Causeway while officers attended at the scene.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At around 2.25pm today, Monday 22 June, police were called to concerns for the safety of a woman on Bridge Street, Warrington.
“Officers attended, spoke to the woman and brought her to safety.”
