WARRINGTON picked up a five wicket victory after asking visitors Hale Barns to bat first at Walton Lea.
M. Wright took 5-24 as Hale Barns were bowled out for 164 in 50 overs.
Warrington struggled for runs in reply and at 69-4 the match could have gone either way.
But when M Rudd, 39 not out, and A Javed, 38 not out, came together the writing was on the wall for the visitors and Warrington coasted to acomfortable win.
Warrington 2nd also won in the “derby” game with Grappenhall at Broad Lane.
The home side were bowled out for 136 with Zak Judge, 31 and Zach Pomfret, 33 supplying most of the runs. Ravi Sabba, 5-26 and Raj Soni, 3-28 were Warrington’s most successful bowlers.
Hassan Bukhari, 47 and skipper Ravi Sabba. 24, dug in to ensure Warrington reached their target with three wickets to spare.
Warrington 3rd won by 56 runs hosting Davenham who were bowled out for 62. Dan Mannering, 25, was Warrington’s top-scorer.

Lymm coasted to 139-4, Revanch Desai 36, Robert Johnson 26 and Gagan Juneja 38 not out.
Grappenhall posted a promising 211-9 at Upton but still managed to lose by seven wickets.
Albert Pennington hit 43 and skipper Dan Adkins 45 after Grappers were asked to bat first.
But Grappenhall’s bowlers could not find their touch and the home side reached their target with time to spare.
Grappenhall 3rd went down by 35 runs at Bowdon.
Lymm Oughtrington Park lost by three wickets at Northwich despite opener Antonell Atwell getting them off to a good start with a blistering 65.
Reuben Roberts hit 43 as Lymm hit 204-6. The home side replied with 205-7 despite Adam McVey taking 4-13.
Lymm 4th went down by five wickets at home to Northwich.
Appleton were put in by Cheadle Hulme Ladybridge and were bowled out for 101. Skipper Ian Richards top-scored with 35. But the modest total proved more than enough as the visitors were dismissed for 94 – Aamir Akash taking 5-21.
Appleton 2nd won by 68 runs at Westminster Park. Skipper Phil Jackson, 43 and fellow-opener Oliver Cross, 60, got Appleton off to a good start.
Alex Howard, 5-29, was among the wickets as the home side were bowled out for 110.
Appleton 3rd won by 10 wickets against a depleted Glazebury 2nd side.
Glazebury were rolled-over for 57, Harry Sygrove taking 4-11.
Glazebury 1st XI lost by a massive 324 runs at home to Tranmere Victoria who batted first and hit 376-9 in 45 overs.
Tom Whitby and Seth Barnes, with three wickets each, were the most successful bowlers on an afternoon they would probably prefer to forget.
Glazebury were all out for 52 with only one batter reaching double figures and five ducks waddling back into the pavilion.
