A plan to convert an end terraced property at Orford, Warrington, into a six-bed House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) has been rejected by town planners.

The proposal involved converting a dwelling house to six-bedroom, six-Person HMO, including a rear ‘L’ Shaped Loft Dormer on Clegge Street, Orford.
The applicant was seeking a certificate of lawfulness under permitted development.
But Warrington Borough Council planners ruled the proposed dormer would not comply with the criteria of permitted development.
There had been no objections to the development.
