WARRINGTON Wolves have announced that The Lathums will be performing live on the pitch before their Betfred Super League season opener against Leeds Rhinos on Thursday February 16.

The North West band are one of the biggest rising indie-rock acts on the scene with their debut album ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be’ going straight to number 1 in the UK charts last year. Their hit single ‘Say My Name’ was also voted as Radio X’s Record of the Year for 2022. Their second album ‘From Nothing to a Little Bit More’ is set to be released on March 3.
Their pre-match performance is a perfect opportunity for fans of both the Lathums and the Wire to come together and enjoy an unforgettable evening of music and sport.
On the pitch, Warrington will be looking to get the 2023 season off to the best possible start against last year’s Grand Finalists, Leeds. A host of new signings are all set to make their competitive debuts in primrose and blue.
Warrington Wolves CEO Karl Fitzpatrick said: “We’re really excited to have one of the UK’s hottest rock acts headline our season opener.
“We want to make a real statement on and off the field in the opening round and I’ve no doubt The Lathums will enhance the spectacle and atmosphere at The Halliwell Jones Stadium next Thursday night.
“Make sure you get into the ground early to enjoy the set with more matchday entertainment to be announced in the next few days. Let’s make it a night to remember.”

Tickets for the opening round are on sale now from the official club store, by calling 01925 248888 or online.
