COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington are continuing an upward trend in the latest small area data, with 11 areas of the town seeing increases, with Hood Manor & Sankey Bridges, Orford and Blackbrook showing some of the highest infection rates.
With the overall trend being up, the latest daily figures released yesterday saw 156 new cases confirmed, although as of yesterday, Thursday, no cases of the new Omicron variant had been identified in the town.
The latest data published yesterday, December 2, for the week ending November 27, show COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington have risen to 827 new cases in a seven-day period compared to 827 the previous week and 766 the week before that.
