POLICE investigating a collision at Orford Green in Warrington have released a CCTV image of a vehicle they are looking to identify.
At around 7.20 am on Tuesday, 21 July, officers in Warrington responded to reports of a collision on Orford Green, near to the Tesco Express and fuel station.
The collision involved an electric bicycle and a vehicle believed to be a dark-coloured Range Rover. Following the incident, the driver stopped briefly and spoke with the rider before leaving the area.
The cyclist sustained minor injuries and later attended hospital as a precaution.
Officers are now looking to identify the driver of the Range Rover and have released an image of the vehicle believed to have been involved in the collision.
Police Constable Oliver Power, of the Roads and Crime Unit, said: “Officers have been conducting a number of enquiries to fully establish what has taken place here and, as part of these enquiries, investigators are now seeking to trace the driver of the Range Rover believed to have been involved.
“We are also asking anyone who witnessed the collision itself take place, or who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.”
