PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for an artificial grass multi-use games area on part of the existing sports field at St Monica’s RC Primary School, Appleton.
Members of Warrington Borough Council’s development management committee approved the proposal despite objections from three nearby residents.
The objectors were concerned about additional noise, particularly as the new games area would be used between 8am and 6pm – longer than the school day.
