Woman treated by paramedics after chimney fire

A WOMAN needed treatment for the effects of smoke inhalation following a chimney fire at her property in Lymm on Boxing Day evening.

One fire engine from Lymm attended at the property on Statham Avenue Lymm at around 19:30
A woman inside the property was handed into the care of paramedics believed to be suffering from slight smoke inhalation.
Crews tackled the fire from the grate by removing the coal and then using rods and a hose.
A thermal imaging camera helped check for hot spots.
