MEMBERS of Warrington Rugby Union Club are to stage a “Lockdown Challenge” – to raise money for the NHS.
On Sunday, November 29, each age group within the club   will be challenged to run or walk 203 miles in 24 hours – the distance from the clubhouse to the home of ruby, Twickenham.
Players and coaches can complete as many miles as they can, either by running walking, cycling, scooting or rowing.
The club believes the event will also be good for the mental health and well-being of their players who currently cannot train because of the Covid-19 restrictions.
The money raised will go to Warrington and Halton Hospitals’ charity and to the club. More than £630 has been raised already.
Anyone who wants to support the challenge with a donation can do so at
https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/warringtonrugbynhs – it will be much appreciated.
