Halloween family fun taking over Birchwood Park

HALLOWEEN family fun has taken over Birchwood Park this week during half-term with a variety of spooky activities.

The EngineRooms has been transformed into a hub of Halloween entertainment, offering a range of family-friendly activities.
All this week until Friday, 31st October, visitors can enjoy a series of events across Birchwood Park, including craft sessions, a spooky trail, and a pumpkin carving competition.
The park’s popular Spooky Kids Trail has returned, allowing little ones to embark on a Halloween adventure around Birchwood Park.
Armed with their spooky trail map, children can explore hidden corners of the park, uncovering the names of the Halloween ducks hidden along the way. Complete the trail to claim a sweet treat at the end, perfect for adding a little extra magic to your half-term break. Trail maps are just £1, with all proceeds going to the Brianna Ghey Legacy Project.
Today, Wednesday 29th October, the park is encouraging everyone to get creative with a spooky, Halloween-themed craft event at the EngineRooms. The park’s craft corner will be packed with materials for kids and families to enjoy hands-on fun – and fancy dress is certainly encouraged.

The EngineRooms will also be hosting a kids’ crafts corner all week, with arts and crafts materials for parents and children alike to get creative. Whether it’s colouring or crafting, it’s a great way to keep the kids entertained during the half-term break.
If the excitement wasn’t enough, the EngineRooms is running a children eat FREE deal during the week too, with every adult meal of £6.50 or above.
For those looking for a competitive edge, the Park is also running a pumpkin carving competition for all ages. Designed the ultimate pumpkin design? Enter for a chance to win a £50 voucher.
Drop off the carved or decorated pumpkin at the EngineRooms reception from today, Wednesday 29th October. Voting will take place 29th-30th October, closing at 3 pm on Thursday 30th, and the winner will be announced on Halloween itself. Entry costs £3 with all proceeds going to The Park’s community partner, the Brianna Ghey Legacy Project.
Martin O’Rourke, Commercial Director at Birchwood Park, said: “Halloween is one of our favourite times at Birchwood Park. It’s not just for those who work here – all families are encouraged to get along, enjoy some seasonal activities, and make memories together!
These events are all about bringing the community together for fun, creativity and a little spooky magic. We can’t wait to welcome everyone for what promises to be a fantastic half-term celebration.”
Whether you’re carving pumpkins, crafting creepy creations, or enjoying a free kid’s meal, Birchwood Park is the place to be this spooky season.
