This year marks a major milestone for Warrington-based consultancy Spire HR, as the team celebrates 15 years of trading.
Over the past decade and a half, Spire HR has built a reputation for delivering practical, down-to-earth HR solutions to businesses of all sizes – from local start-ups to nationwide organisations.
What sets Spire HR apart is its personable approach. Rather than offering advice from a distance, the team prides itself on getting out into businesses, meeting managers and employees face-to-face, and providing the kind of hands-on support that makes employees feel heard and valued. This approach not only resolves workplace issues effectively but also helps to build healthier, happier, and more productive teams.
While rooted in the North-West, Spire HR’s support now stretches nationwide, with clients across the UK benefitting from their expertise in everything from compliance and contracts to wellbeing, performance, and culture change. Ellen Parkin, Managing Director explains “just think of us as your HR department, but based off site. We get involved with the full employment cycle from hiring, to firing (or a nicer term – departures), and lots of HR in-between.
And 2026 looks set to be an exciting year. With one franchise already successfully onboard, Spire HR is expanding through franchising to bring its trusted model of HR support to more communities across the country. The business is now looking to welcome more franchise partners in January 2026 and beyond, creating new opportunities for growth while ensuring even more businesses have access to expert HR advice.
The timing couldn’t be more important. The introduction of the Employment Rights Bill means big changes for employers, at a time when many businesses are already feeling the strain of the current economic climate.
Ellen said: “Reaching 15 years is something we’re incredibly proud of. For us, HR is all about people – listening, supporting, and making sure employees and business owners feel confident and protected.
The challenges businesses face today are significant. Costs are rising, legislation is changing, and many employers don’t have in-house HR to keep on top of it all. That’s where we come in. We provide tailored, cost-effective HR solutions that protect businesses and support employees.
As we expand through franchising, our goal is to take that same personal approach to more businesses nationwide.”
