Warrington & Vale Royal College, a top 10 provider of apprenticeship training in England, is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week by shining a spotlight on the life-changing opportunities apprenticeships offer.

Apprenticeships equip students of all ages with in-demand, practical skills that employers value, while also providing the benefit of earning as you learn. Apprentices will spend the majority of their time in the workplace, while 20% of their working hours will be dedicated to off-the-job training and working towards their nationally-recognised qualification.
At Warrington & Vale Royal College, apprenticeships are available across a wide range of sectors, including business administration, hairdressing, science, construction and IT. These courses range from level 2 all the way to level 5 and can lead onto a range of pathways including full time employment, higher apprenticeships or university.

With thousands of apprentices thriving in their careers thanks to Warrington & Vale Royal College, National Apprenticeship Week is the perfect time to recognise their hard work and the invaluable role of employers in shaping the future workforce. The week will be filled with exciting activities, including employer tours, hands-on workshops for students, and an Apprenticeships Awards Evening on Tuesday 11th February, celebrating apprentices and their employers.
As well as its incredible apprentices, there is much to celebrate this National Apprenticeship Week for Warrington & Vale Royal College, which has recently been recognised as one of the top 10 providers of apprenticeships in England thanks to standout achievement rates. The most recent Qualification Achievement Rates (QARs) data revealed the college’s exceptional performance, affirming its commitment to delivering high-quality technical education and training. Furthermore, in the recent Ofsted inspection, the college was praised for the comprehensive support they offered apprentices. The report determined that “apprentices feel welcomed, well supported and cared for,” at the college, and “are well prepared for their next steps and future destinations.”
