FIREFIGHTERS were called to open land near a railway line at Warrington last night.
The blaze, off Penkford Lane, Collins Green, involved a quantity of wood that appeared to have been deliberately set alight.
A crew from Warrington Fire Station used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
