WARRINGTON Housing Association (WHA) has completed four brand-new apartments at its White Street development close to the town centre, offering easy accessibility to all amenities and within the Bank Quay area.

The scheme is built on a former carpark site and comprises of two one-bedroom and two two-bedroom apartments for affordable rent.
These new homes highlight WHA’s enduring commitment to addressing the local housing needs of Warrington residents and has been made possible through substantial financial investment from WHA complemented by a significant grant from Homes England, the Government’s housing and regeneration agency.

Nicola Spedding, representing Homes England, stated, “As the Government’s housing and regeneration agency, increasing the supply of quality affordable homes remains one of our key objectives and we are committed to supporting ambitious housebuilders of all sizes to build those homes and communities – this investment through the Affordable Homes Programme does just that, enabling Warrington Housing Association to build four much-needed new homes that the people of Warrington can be proud of.”
David Cummins, CEO of WHA, has remarked, “This is a high-quality development to reflect Warrington Housing Association’s continued commitment to investment in the borough, supporting the Borough Council’s housing strategy and continuing to help make Warrington a great place to live.”

WHA engaged the services of Connolly Ltd as the building contractor, BTP Architects designed the new homes and Nicol Thomas acted as the Employer’s Agent.
