Road closed following collision on Church Street

A road close to Warrington town centre was closed in both directions this morning following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Church Street.

Shortly after 8am today, Wednesday 13 September, police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Church Street, Warrington.

Police are in attendance at the scene and Church Street is currently closed in both directions from Mersey Street roundabout to Manchester Road.

The pedestrian is currently being treated by paramedics, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
