Mud and rain fail to dampen spirits at Creamfields music festival

RAIN and mud failed to dampen the spirits of thousands of music fans attending the Creamfields festival at Daresbury during the Bank Holiday weekend.

While sunshine greeted the start of the annual festival, heavy showers and persistent rain soon turned the fields into mud.

But the 70,000 music lovers attending the event didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits with more than 300 acts performing across the four-day period. Some of the biggest names appearing on stage included David Guetta, Tiesto, and Calvin Harris.

Meanwhile, for those unable to get tickets for the sold-out event Creamfields Live bridged the gap between festival-goers and the music they love. Hosted by the dynamic duo of Jess Izzatt and Sarah Story, the livestream delivered exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and an insider’s view of the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
Viewers can tune in for the final day below.
After lengthy traffic queues in the build-up to the event, the roads will likely be busy again tomorrow, Monday, as those camping at the event start packing up and leaving.
