Heavy traffic on all roads leading to Creamfields

HEAVY traffic is being reported on all roads leading to Creamfields as 70,000 music fans start to arrive in Warrington for the annual Bank Holiday festival.

Traffic is particularly heavy on Chester Road from Warrington town centre heading towards Daresbury.

Meanwhile, as Creamfields gets underway specially trained Cheshire Police officers have been out all morning and will be deployed throughout the event to keep you safe.
If you see anything suspicious report it via 101 or 999 in an emergency.

20mph speed limit
A56 Chester Road from the borough boundary with Halton to its junctions with Old Chester Road/Runcorn Road.
30mph speed limit
Daresbury Lane from its junction with Warrington Road to the borough boundary with Halton.

Hatton Lane, Underbridge Lane, Warrington Road
Daresbury Lane from its junction with Warrington Road to the Borough Boundary with Halton.
Hobb Lane from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to the Borough Boundary with Halton.
Holly Hedge Lane from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Runcorn Road.
Old Chester Road from its northerly junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Walton Lea Road.
Park Lane from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Warrington Road.
No U-Turns
Chester Road in either direction on Chester Road between the borough boundary with Halton to its junctions with Old Chester Road/Runcorn Road.
