SEARCH teams looking for missing Warrington woman Thea Newton, 29, have sadly found a body.
Police say it is believed to be Thea and her next of kin have been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
It follows a large emergency services presence reported at Sankey Bridges after Thea has last seen during the early hours of this morning.
Police and rescue teams with drones had been searching the Trans Pennine Trail and the surrounding areas in Warrington.
Thea had last been seen at around 1.30 am this morning (Friday 16 June) at her home address in Warrington. Her car was found parked near Sunflower Drive.
