Brett Hodgson is one of the Wolves’ most accomplished players, having joined the team from Huddersfield in 2011. Hodgson was a game-changer for his team, winning the Man of Steel title and putting up over 10 points each contest – demonstrating why the Wolves were so high on him to join their team. He played at an elevated level on the field during his time with Warrington, culminating in a Challenge Cup Final effort against Leeds in 2012 that earned him the Lance Todd Trophy.

Hodgson’s persistent work rate and skillful play made him an integral part of the Wolves team, and he is remembered today as one of their greatest champions.

After joining the team from Melbourne in 2008, King quickly established himself as one of the most influential players at the club. His ability to play across multiple positions on the field and his expertise in the attack was invaluable to his team’s success throughout his tenure. He was instrumental in helping the Wolves win their first Challenge Cup in 35 years, scoring a hat-trick against Leeds in 2010 and playing across the three-quarter line for much of that season and 2011 before returning home to Australia. All Warrington fans will remember King as a true champion and leader on and off the pitch.

Joining the team from the Bradford Bulls in 2006, Atkins has been crucial to Warrington’s on-field success. He has scored more tries than anybody else at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, an impressive 93 over his time there. His incredible try-scoring record has vaulted him to the fourth jersey, passing Bryson Goodwin in the process, and helped make him one of the Wolves’ most valuable players. Off the pitch, he was just as influential; Atkins was appointed Vice-Captain of The Wire in 2013 and was part of the leadership group that guided Warrington to their first Super League Grand Final win in 2012.

Lee Briers

Still, even as the decade turned and his career was winding down, Briers gave his all and won over fans with his reckless, passionate style of play. He was a crucial part of Warrington’s resurgence throughout the 2010s, leading them to two Challenge Cup titles – including a memorable 2010 win where he received the Lance Todd Trophy for his performance as man-of-the-match.

He soon became integral to the team’s offense, breaking record after record with his try assists and points kicked. His fearless attacking style made him one of the Wolves’ most dangerous players – even when up against experienced opponents such as Leeds Rhinos and St Helens – while his leadership skills made him a respected leader both on and off the pitch. His accomplishments were further demonstrated when he was inducted into the Warrington Wolves Hall Of Fame in 2018.
