Starving dog dumped from car looking for forever home

A starving dog dumped from a car is now looking for its forever home after being nursed back to health thanks to Warrington Animal Welfare.

Tinkerbelle (Tinks) came into the care of WAW after her owner dumped her from a car with another dog who sadly died earlier this week.

She was emaciated and in poor condition, but despite this, the animal welfare charity says “she is the loveliest dog, totally forgiving and full of love” 🥰🥰
Nine-year-old Tinks has been staying in a foster home to get some TLC and gain some weight and her foster carers say she is an amazing dog who loves kisses and cuddles.
A spokesperson for Warrington Animal Welfare said:” She is housetrained, good in the car, great on walks – not pulling on the lead and just walking by your side and has started playing with a ball, which apparently, she loves.
“Tinks loves being with people and being close to them for a cuddle.
“She is an older lady and loves to sleep, her ideal home would be quiet and calm, maybe with a retired person/couple who can shower her with love most of the day. But we would consider a family home, with sensible children aged 12+.
“Tinks has lived with other dogs but has not lived with cats.
“Unsurprisingly she can be a little nervous when left, so ideally we want a home where she is not left for long periods.
“Tinks has been seen by a vet and is in good health.
“If you can offer the lovely girl a forever home and help her put her awful experience behind her, then please apply via the website: https://warringtonanimalwelfare.org.uk/tinkerbelle-aka-tinks
All adoptions are subject to checks and fees.
