Creamfields issue warnings over dangerous drugs being found on site

ORGANISERS of the Creamfields music festival at Daresbury have been issuing warnings over dangerous drugs being found on site.

An Onsite lab identified pills containing Dimethylpentylone which can cause severe insomnia, paranoia and increased heart rate to a dangerous level.

The onsite lab also identified a white powder being sold as Ketamine which is a mixture of cocaine/Ketamine and causing people to feel unwell.
Anyone who had taken these and felt unwell or concerned was urged to go to the welfare or medical team.

There are also extra strong MDMA pills in circulation. If you feel hot, develop a fast heart rate or have a friend who is unresponsive, please seek help with a member of staff as soon as possible.
A warning was also issued over Ketamine and Alcohol – a dangerous combination that can result in overdose. This is more likely when people take large doses or re-dose quickly. Don’t wait to seek help if you need to.
There was also a warning over Ecstasy Pills can be of different strengths and can contain different substances.
Drugs amnesty bins were available at the entrance allowing people to dispose of any illegal substances without risk of prosecution or exclusion.

One local shop worker contacted Warrington-Worldwide earlier today to raise concerns over the number of people under the influence of drugs.
“It seems worse than ever this year,” they said.
“We had a steady stream of mainly younger people coming in our premises after leaving Creamfields and they were completely stoned and out of it. They were like zombies and some couldn’t even talk.
“Whatever security and precautions are being put in place they are clearly not working.”

Meanwhile, the musical side of the event provided a spectacular finale on Saturday night/Sunday morning as fire works lit up the sky over Daresbury.

  1. I just do NOT understand why Creamfields is allowed to continue. Are they not bothered that someone could die again. Just stop it now. FPS just think about what it would do to the parents.
