Police investigate another suspected wheelie bin arson incident at Orford

POLICE are investigating another suspected arson incident involving a wheelie bin in the Orford area of Warrington, this time targeting a play area.

The incident took place at 20:10 on Hallfields Road, when one fire engine from Warrington attended at the scene.
Firefighters used a water backpack to extinguish a wheelie bin which was well alight at a children’s play area on Hallfields Road.
The crew was detained at the incident for around 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tua, quoting IML 1117000.
It is one of a number of suspected arson incidents in and around the Orford area in recent days, including an incident on the Skate Park on Orford Park.
