Latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as rates continue to rise especially in the south

THE latest small area data from Public Health England reveals COVID-19 infection rates are continuing to rise in many areas of the town, with significant hot spots in the south of the borough.

For a third consecutive week, the number of new infections in Lymm has remained in three figures, while infection rates are also rising in Stockton Heath, Appleton and Latchford.

The latest data published yesterday, October 21, show COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington have risen to 1,323 new cases in a seven-day period, including another  122 (118) in Lymm, compared to 1,136 the previous week and 836 the week before that.
