COVID-19 infection rates continue to rise as 154 new cases confirmed

ANOTHER 154 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington as infection rates continue to rise well above the national average.

The 154 (173) new cases reported by Public Health England, takes the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 32,701 (32,547).



Infection rates in Warrington for the last seven days have continued to rise to 1,257 (1,193) – 600.3 (569.7) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period and remain well above the national average of 410.8 (397.6) per 100,000, which also continues to rise.
