TWO more COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital while infection rates continue to rise with another 262 new cases confirmed in the town.
The 262 (251) new cases reported by Public Health England, takes the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 32,374 (32,112).
Infection rates in Warrington for the last seven days have risen again to 1,148 (1,136) – 548.2 (542.5) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period and remain above the national average of 387.9 (381.4) per 100,000, which has also risen.
Two more deaths take the total number of hospital deaths to 538, while inpatient numbers have risen slightly from 32-33 with another four patients discharged since yesterday.
