Warrington’s latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as rates rise in particular in the South

WARRINGTON’S latest COVID-19 hot spots have been revealed in the latest small area data published by Public Health England as infection rates have risen in many areas, in particular in the south of the borough.

The latest data published yesterday, September 30, show infection rates in Warrington have risen to 678 new cases in a seven-day period, compared to 576 the previous week and 702 the week before that.



The highest rates of infection per 100,000 and new cases are in the south of the borough in particular Appleton Thorn, Appleton, Stockton Heath and Grappenhall areas of the town.
