Police kept busy with COVID breaches including five car meet up at scene of collision

POLICE were kept busy with a number of COVID breaches last night including finding a five-car meet-up in the town at the scene of a road traffic collision and large groups of youths out causing anti-social behaviour.

Officers discovered a road traffic collision in which five vehicles, from across the North West had met up in Warrington for a car meet. Ten fixed penalties to be issued for COVID breaches.



Meanwhile, a significant amount of youths were out in large groups across Warrington last.
Police had several anti-social behaviour calls in the Whittle Hall and Chapelford areas.
A police spokesperson said: “Parents – we are still in a national lockdown, please remind your children, they must stay at home. Thank you!”
In Great Sankey North Police were called out to investigate ongoing problems with groups of youths meeting up at Sankey and Penketh railway stations and smoking cannabis.
