Warrington records second biggest drop in COVID-19 cases as new data reveals local hotspots

WARRINGTON has seen the second-biggest drop of new COVID-19 cases in the country in the last seven days as new data from Public Health England reveals the town’s local hotspots.

In data complied by the Centre for Cities, Liverpool has seen the biggest drop (-27 per cent) followed by Warrington (-20 per cent) at 372 per 100,000 population over the last seven days up to November 11.
With 704 cases per 100,000 people, Hull is now the city with the highest number of cases. It is followed by Blackburn (663) and Bradford (582).
At the other end of the spectrum, cities like Worthing, Ipswich and Norwich have less than 100 cases per 100,000 population.
Meanwhile in Warrington Blackbrook recorded the highest number of new cases at 54, followed by Padagte and Paddington and Kingswood and Whittle Hall, both at 48.

The number of positive Covid-19/SARS-CoV-2 tests in the seven days up to 07 Nov was made public today by Public Health England.
