Police seize large amount of fragrances and cosmetics in Warrington town centre

WARRINGTON town centre police are urging members of the public to report unlicensed street sellers following recent incidents involving the sale of fragrances and cosmetics.

Town centre officers recently received information regarding males trying to sell fragrances and cosmetics from plastic bags around the town centre.
On Bank Holiday Monday they responded to such a call and spoke to two males near to the new Times Square Development.
A large number of goods were seized and the males were given their marching orders from the town – investigations are ongoing into the origin of these goods.

Meanwhile, in another incident, a male was detained for shoplifting at B&M in the Cockhedge Centre and causing a “rumpus” with staff trying to do their job.
Patrols were despatched and male is now in the cells for the alleged Theft of goods to the value of £50.

  1. Police, or at least community support, officers need to be posted on bridge street throughout the day it is the downfall of the town. Full of people taking drugs, drinking, flogging shit and fighting
