Police secure closure orders to prevent ongoing serious crime

WARRINGTON Police have secured closure orders at three properties in the town to help prevent ongoing incidents of serious crime involving anti-social behaviour.

Warrington Central Beat Team successfully applied for closure orders at the town’s magistrates court at two addresses in St Elphins Close, Howley, which had been causing misery to the local community due to continued crime and anti-social behaviour. The premises will remain boarded up for three months.
Meanwhile officers will continue to work with the community and local housing association Torus, to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.

Meanwhile Warrington West Beat team have today secured a closure order at an address in Reaper Close, Great Sankey. This was due to numerous incidents of serious crime and disorder at the location.
The property will remain closed for three months to prevent further disorder.
