Westvale House Care Home was filled with music, dancing and plenty of smiles as residents, families, friends and members of the local community came together for its annual Summer Fair.

Despite the typically unpredictable British weather, the event created a lively summer atmosphere, with an afternoon of entertainment, singing and dancing enjoyed by everyone who attended.
The fair raised an impressive £633.50 for the Westvale House Residents’ Fund.
The money will be used for something chosen by the residents themselves, with a residents’ meeting due to take place shortly to allow them to put forward ideas and decide together how the funds should be spent.
Live entertainment was provided by talented singer Sharon Blakemore, who soon had the crowd singing and dancing along.

There was also a special performance from Rosabeth Royales Majorettes, which proved another highlight of the afternoon.
Westvale House thanked everyone who helped make the event a success, including those who donated prizes, supported the fundraising, helped organise the fair and came along to show their support.
The care home said it was now looking forward to seeing what residents decide to spend their £633.50 on.
