Artisan Market is back in town after winter break

WARRINGTON’S Artisan Market is back – after a brief winter break.
The first market of the year will be at Walton Hall and Gardens this Sunday (March 17) from 11am to 4pm at the fully refurbished Old Riding School.
The 19th century building, which is located in the Heritage Yard, recently underwent a six figure refurbishment having previously been out of use to the public for more than 100 years.
Warrington Market works in partnership with the Walton Gardens Estate team to deliver the event, and the riding school will host more than 50 of the region’s best independent producers and creative makers.
Hot cuisine will be available from street food stalwart, Cyprus Kouzina and Stonebakers to name a few and a range of delicious pies will be on offer from Warrington’s own “To Pie For”.
There will also be music and entertainment for the children.
Cllr Tony Higgins, the borough council’s lead member for leisure and community, said: “It’s great to see Warrington Market and the Walton team working together to bring this popular, family-friendly market to Walton Hall and Gardens once more.
“The Artisan Market gives everyone the chance to enjoy a fantastic day out – with some of region’s finest Artisan food, drink, arts and crafts producers, alongside some fabulous entertainment.”
