Tories set up a “One Warrington” team

TORIES across Warrington have voted to form a “One Warrington” Conservative team.
The idea, which has been worked out over many months in talks between officers of the Warrington North and Warrington South Conservative Associations, has been given the go-ahead by party members throughout the town.
The team will consist of officers from both associations who will work together under the chairmanship of ex borough and parish councillor Paul Campbell, from Culcheth.
Mr Campbell has held officer posts for the Conservatives at local and county level.
He said, “This is an exciting new way forward for the Conservative party in Warrington. We have recognised the vast changes in the demographics of the town from inner and outer council wards to the urban and rural aspects of where we live. By working together this way, residents will now find there is one point of contact, run through one office with common social media channels (@OneWarrington) and wider communications. It makes sense as a local team to streamline the organisation to make it more efficient, answerable and easier to contact for everyone.
“Residents may have already noticed the new posters on our office windows on Stafford Road inviting residents to feedback and get more involved. As the One Warrington Team we will be working even harder for the people of Warrington right across the town. The team have already made a start through a recent Lymm survey and canvassing to support our borough and parish council candidates, Stephen Taylor and Andrew Carter in next month’s by-election.’”
The Warrington North and South Constituency Associations will still remain in place to fight national General Elections when they arise, leaving the combined One Warrington Team to campaign at local level right across the Borough of Warrington.

  1. I am against the greenbelt development, including business and housing

It is already a nightmare trying to join the M6 from Grappenhall in a morning, with traffic queuing beyond the Cheshire Dogs hom.

With thousands of new homes, each potentially having 2 cars, where on earth are they all going to go?

My home in Springfield Ave WA4 2NW is potenially under the threat of a bypass at the rear of the property, we may already be blighted if I wanted to sell?
